Hello, I am Helen! - A Mechanical Engineer with passions for product design, robotics, electric vehicle and aviation.
I'm graduating Carnegie Mellon University in May 2025
with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
and concentration in robotics and control systems.
Currently, I am a Mechanical graduate student researcher at Airlab, where I work on electromechanical hardware systems for the aerial and ground robots.
I work at Carnegie Mellon's largest makerspace- TechSpark, where I practice and improve my prototyping skills and help students complete their projects.
Outside of class, I am a powertrain team engineer at
Carnegie Mellon Racing, where I lead the cooling system design and build for a competitive electric vehicle.
My professional journey has been
enriched through
work experience at Tesla (internship),
BETA Technologies (internship),
Husky Injection Molding Systems (co-op).
Throughout my career and academic journey, I've developed my skills in product design, fabrication, and testing.
Check out my project portfolio and see all the cool projects I've been working on!
I'm also an aviation explorer, designer, maker, 3D printing enthusiast, and snowboarder. I'm a lover of beautiful aircrafts, electromechanical designs, electric vehicles, and breathtaking nature views.
I like flying ✈︎, driving ꔮ, and solving difficult problems. : )
